We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist
In this role, you will:
Risk Manager – Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate platform-wide vulnerability remediation activities across technology, infrastructure and application teams. Monitor vulnerability remediation performance against established SLAs, identify aging findings and drive timely closure of critical and high-risk vulnerabilities.
- Conduct risk assessments and evaluate the business impact of security vulnerabilities, control gaps, and technology risks. Manage vulnerability exception and risk acceptance processes, ensuring appropriate approvals, compensating controls, and periodic reviews.
- Track identified security vulnerabilities and ensure timely remediation in line with defined SLAs and risk appetite. Facilitate risk assessments, evaluate control effectiveness and recommend mitigation strategies for identified risks.
- Develop and maintain risk dashboards, metrics and executive-level reports highlighting risk exposure, remediation status and trends. Produce and present weekly, monthly and quarterly risk reports for senior management, risk committees, audit committees and executive leadership.
- Collaborate with cybersecurity, IT, compliance, audit and business stakeholders to drive risk reduction initiatives.
- Monitor compliance with internal security policies, regulatory requirements and industry standards. Escalate critical risks and remediation delays to appropriate governance forums and senior management.
- Support vulnerability management and audit activities by tracking findings through closure.
- Conduct root cause analysis of recurring issues and recommend process improvements to strengthen the risk posture. Maintain risk registers, exception records and documentation to support governance and audit requirements.Drive risk awareness across teams and promote a culture of proactive risk management.

Preferred Skills & Experience
- Experience in Technology Risk, Cyber Risk, Information Security or Operational Risk Management.
- Strong understanding of vulnerability management, risk assessment methodologies and remediation tracking.
- Good to have knowledge of risk frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, COBIT or regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in reporting tools, data analysis and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication, coordination and executive reporting skills.
