We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Business Intelligence Visualisation Development 

In this role, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders (Product Owners, BAs, SMEs, end users) to architect and design BI solutions that unlock the value of data through storytelling
• Conduct end-to-end development of dashboards using Qlik Sense based on business requirements
• Perform data modelling activities to build data layer (QVDs) for dashboards
• Design and build front-end dashboards that adhere to UI/UX principles
• Conduct optimisation to meet the acceptable level of performance in dashboards
• Implement efficient solutions that adhere to Qlik best practices
• Prepare and maintain technical and user documentation of dashboards
• Communicate upcoming changes to the dashboards, release notes and other essential information to the end users
• Provide end users of the dashboards with support and troubleshooting
• Adhere to HSBC processes, standards, and principles

To be successful you will:

• 5+ years of experience in Business Intelligence / Data Visualisation
• Extensive experience in end-to-end dashboards delivery using Qlik technologies (mandatory)
• Experience in front-end development using Qlik Sense, including advanced aggregation and calculation techniques
• Experience in building data extraction and transformation QVD layers using Qlik Sense. Good knowledge on SQL
• Experience in Web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and integration with Qlik Sense (i.e. mashups) and advanced data modelling and data architecture concepts
• Experience in using Qlik visualisation libraries and extensions (e.g. Vizlib, NPrinting)
• Experience in working with large data sets and applying optimisation techniques to load and report them in Qlik
• Knowledge of Cloud infrastructure (preferably GCP), tools such as Jira, Confluence, Github
