We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Automation Services Manager
Business: Risk & Complaince
Principal responsibilities
- Manage a team of Digital & Automation Engineer to deliver digital/ automation solutions within scope, timeline and budget.
- As the lead engaging stakeholders to understand their digital and automation needs. Perform opportunity assessment and Proof of Concept for new use cases.
- Propose and align solution design based on business requirements and future state processes with project stakeholders.
- Formulate project business case, present the project and solution design in governance meetings
- Responsible for the End-to-End delivery of digital and automation solutions with Power Platform capabilities, such as Power Apps, Power Automate/ Power Automate Desktop, Power BI, etc., as well as relevant approvals and governance processes in accordance with HSBC standards.
- Support the operation of Power Platform CoE or other relevant governance bodies in HSBC, such as reviewing new business cases, solution design, POC/ trouble shooting platform related new features/ issues.
- Collect and summarise feedbacks and improvements areas of delivery model from stakeholders, to enable continuous improvement.
- As the Lead Trainers in Citizen Programme.
Qualifications
General
- Proven successful track record in a similar role with strong project management skill in working with high performing teams and Subject Matter Experts globally.
- Ability to problem solve, clearly articulate requirements, and implement and drive delivery.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and comfortable dealing with complex stakeholder groups. With the ability to present technical details to a non-technical audience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and with sufficient gravitas and prominence to influence key stakeholders.
- Must be well organised and able to multi-task effectively and efficiently.
- Able to work independent with limited supervision.
- Fast learner. Able to accommodate to complex environment and stakeholder groups
- Strong written and verbal communication skills required:
- Fluency in English is a must
- Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) is a plus
- Familiarity with CoE operation is a plus.
- Familiarity with Wholesale Banking industry is a plus.
Technical Skill
- Strong knowledge and proven successful track record in Power Platform and/or RPA technologies, and their use case assessment, implementation & delivery lifecycle.
- Good understanding of System Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery approach.
- Sound solution design experience, with the ability to architect and explain complex system and database interactions including data flow, common interfaces, APIs, etc. Knowledge of architecture is a definitely a plus.
- With hands on experience on one of below Power Platform capabilities or any market leading automation/ digital tools:
- Power Apps
- Power Automate/ Power Automate Desktop
- Power BI
- RPA (e.g. Blue Prism/ UiPath/ Automation Anywhere)
- VBA
- Proficient in MS Office, Teams, Confluence, Jira and/or Monday.com.
- Knowledge of other programming languages is a plus.
- Applicants should have an IT / CS / Tech background with either a relevant bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant experience.
- Applicants own any certificates below is highly preferable:
- Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
- Exam PL-500: Microsoft Power Automate RPA Developer
- Blue Prism Developer Exam (AD01)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) or PRINCE
- SAFe Product Owner and Product Manager Certification
