We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Director- Insights and Analytics.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the Team and provide supervisory cover to OMNIA Frontline Support team. Provide necessary support, review and back up cover plans for the Function.
  • The role holder required to work closely with other teams (CME, Business Finance, CIS Teams) bring synergies on common issues raised by Relationship Mangers
  • Escalate and report technical issues to IT Support and act as a bridge between users and IT by owning the request throughout the life cycle by ensuring the end user is kept updated on the progress.
  • Work closely with IT support team in enhancing workflow tool to capture required details for producing valuable insights required for further process improvements. 
  • Develop subject matter expertise on various frontline applications and bring synergies across all the applications.
  • Serve as a key connecting function with Frontline business, maintain a high degree of prioritization, engagement, and communication.
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with Business Partners/ Product Owners and identify areas of service improvements by maintain regular contact and utilizing feedback mechanisms.
  • Ensure adherence with all the applicable compliance policies (Data security policy, AML, operational risk, Functional manual, Group Compliance Manual, Audit recommendations, Internal Control requirements, regulatory guidelines etc.) and business standards of Organization as applicable. Take timely action on Audit comments and be able to demonstrate compliance with Internal controls. 

To be successful you will:

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, preferably in banking and financial sector
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CPA or CIMA) or MBA from Tier 1 institution with 14+ post qualification experience (PQE) in Management Information / Query Management / Reference Data Management/ Financial reporting. Technology background of any programming language (SQL/Python/Qlik) would be preferred.
  • Strong understanding of business / finance concepts and terminology within a banking environment; any existing experience in HSBC / equivalent bank with Business / Product Teams is preferred.
  • Experience in a service center or customer-facing type environment is highly desired and Track-record of delivering analytics within Financial Institutions
  • Flexibility to work in accordance with Business requirements Working knowledge on Excel Macros and PPT would be an added advantage.
  • Data analytics tools such as Python, Spark, and HadoopTrack record of developing successful Analytics functions delivering actionable insights
  • Track-record of developing and implementing strategy for growing evolving a new capability
  • Track-record of leading Agile multi-disciplined teams to deliver exceptional customer service and value
