We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of AVP CI and Delivery Specialist Lead

Purpose of the role:

The AVP – Compensation Services drives measurable improvements across P&R Services by identifying, designing and delivering process optimization and automation opportunities.

The role partners with HR stakeholders, Product Owners and Technology to translate business needs into robust functional/process designs, deliver change safely through testing and training, and ensure benefits are sustained through monitoring and governance aligned to HSBC’s Change Framework.

In this role, you will:

• Work with HR stakeholders and partner teams to capture business requirements, define functional design and process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), and support prototyping through to implementation.
• Identify opportunities for change initiatives - analyze current-state processes, identify automation/streamlining opportunities, and define “to-be” processes.
• Change opportunities to include scoping of AI use cases for the Services Team across verticals.
• Create and maintain process inventories, process maps, and end-to-end documentation to support standardization and scalability across regions.
• Plan and deliver change from initiation through implementation and hypercare, ensuring clear milestones, dependencies, stakeholder signoffs.
• Identify risks and issues early, ensure correct reporting, and devise interventions/solutions to mitigate risks and protect delivery outcomes.
• Monitor and measure the effectiveness of implemented improvements and existing delivery across P&R Services, using agreed KPIs and benefits measures.
• Lead/support testing activities (test scenarios, UAT coordination, defect triage, evidence capture) to ensure solutions meet requirements and are fit for purpose.

To be successful you will:

• Minimum 10 years’ experience in delivery space ideally within HR in banking or financial services.
• Example of partnering with Technology and Product Owners to deliver system and automation deployments successfully.
• Strong track record managing positive, challenging interactions with senior stakeholders and balancing local needs with global outcomes.
• Experience leveraging existing technology to improve efficiency and enhance user experience.
• Business Analysis; Operational Delivery; Change Management; Communication; Stakeholder Management; Agile mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to translate complex information into clear, structured messages tailored to the audience.
• Strong relationship management and influencing skills that build confidence and commitment.
