We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst

In this role you will:

  • Use system and business knowledge to provide an efficient and comprehensive level of support to the delivery teams. You should ensure that the business requirements are correctly captured and understood by the delivery teams to enable them to deliver the system solution with a high degree of quality.
  • Demonstrate your analytical capabilities, problem solving skills, learning abilities, team skills and ability to work independently. Should be familiar with business analysis practice in line with BABOK guidelines.
  • Host refinement sessions to bring stories to DoR done.
  • Ensuring that a healthy number of stories remain in the DoR bucket and healthy product backlog is maintained.
  • Reviewing what has been developed to ensure they are in line with expectations
  • Assisting developers with queries on user stories and solution (functional)

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements

    • At least 4-5 years of relevant IT experience, including exposure to business analysis, systems analysis, functional testing.
    • Ability to prioritize work to successfully deliver service to agreed levels in a diverse and constantly changing environment
    • Effectively co-ordinate delivery of services involving elements delivered by other internal/external teamsStrong customer focus
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience in communicating with senior executivesStrong process implementation skills
    • Demonstrated success in key stakeholder managementExperience of using IT systems and reporting tools
    • Assisting testing team with scope definition, test strategy and test scenario.Prior experience in Agile methodology is a must.
    • Awareness of story slicing and experience in story point estimation techniqueExperience in using JIRA and Visio is must.
    • Experience in BDD is preferred (Behavior Driven Development).Knowledge of Banking Payment Systems and/or Banking Domain is preferred.Familiarity with Incident / Problem / Change and Release Management procedures is desirable.
