We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Assistant Vice President- Insurance
In this role, you will:
- Responsible for driving and implementing efficiency gains and cost improvement initiatives by automating, digitizing and optimizing current processes.
- Reviewing current processes and recommending changes based on industry best practices. Analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement in existing processes.
- Developing and implementing process improvement plans, including process mapping, redesign, and optimization.
- Participate and contribute to ad-hoc projects of strategic nature - Growth Agenda, New Set-up, MigrationMaintaining up-to-date knowledge of process improvement methodologies and devise best practices accordingly.
- Working with the business teams to determine strategy for new initiatives and projects. Leading meetings with stakeholders to discuss process improvements opportunities.
To be successful you will:
- University graduate in related disciplines or other relevant qualifications. Minimum of 10 years relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution or consultancy firm.
- Knowledge of end-to-end customer journey and process knowledge of the Insurance domain will be an asset. Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma. Knowledge of automation tools, features and methodologies.
- Proven record of effective project management, including project planning and decision making, identifying priorities, enforcing project governance, managing resources, management reporting and bringing a wide range of projects to successful completion.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and facilitation skills. Ability to maintain focus while working with voluminous data. Knowledge of AS400 and Salesforce an advantage Proficient in Microsoft office applications. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with being organized, structured, methodological and assertive.
