AS400, ISeries Development/Senior Consultant Specialist

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

In this role, you will:
•    Analyse user requirements to define business objectives
•    Envisioning system features and functionality
•    Define application objectives and functionality
•    Ensure application designs conform with business goals
•    Own and Manage Development Modules
•    Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
•    Create detailed design document and present in appropriate architecture forums for approval.
•    Develop technical designs for application development
•    Write well designed, testable code
•    Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
•    Develop documentation to help users
•    Prepare and produce releases of software components
•    Participate in Production Support and help to resolve incidents
•    Reduce Recurrent issue and Propose Ideas for Improvement

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
•    Relevant experience as a developer in AS400/i-Series Technology.
•    Should have working experience in Cobol 400, CLP, DB2, Sub Systems, DB2 SQL
•    Should have understanding on Subsystems, Jobs, Iseries WebSphere
•    Experience in Dev-Ops tools like Agile Scrum process and Jira.
•    Experience on CI/CD pipelines like ARCAD, RTC, Jenkins, etc.

•    Develop and test software
•    Identify and resolve any technical issues arising
•    Create detailed design document and present in appropriate architecture forums for approval.

•    Conducting software analysis, programming, testing, and debugging
•    Develop documentation to help users
•    Conduct peer reviews and mentor junior team members.
•    Prepare and produce releases of software components
•    Support continuous improvement, investigating alternatives and technologies, and presenting for architectural review
•    Knowledge of Credit and Lending domain would be preferred.
•    Working experience on the Credit and Lending management applications will be an added advantage.
•    Knowledge and experience on Mongo DB would be an added advantage.
•    10+ Yrs of experience
