We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an Product Partnership Manager - Premier Segment

 

Areas and Accountabilities

 

• Lead the acquisition and growth of Premier segment credit card customers through strategic partnerships and proposition-led initiatives, ensuring sustainable and profitable portfolio growth.
• Identify new partnership opportunities (lifestyle, travel, education, healthcare, premium retail, etc.) aligned with Premier customer needs and HSBC value proposition.
• Work closely with Marketing, Distribution, Wealth, and Relationship teams to design and execute Premier-focused acquisition campaigns, ensuring clear and compliant communication of offers and product features.
• Own end-to-end partner-led program development, working with key stakeholders including Marketing, Sales, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Finance, Procurement and Operations to structure, launch, and scale initiatives.
• Monitor and evaluate program and portfolio performance, recommending enhancements to product features, partnership mechanics, or marketing strategies to optimize customer value and commercial outcomes.
• Ensure all Premier partnership initiatives are executed in line with risk appetite, underwriting standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Accountable for risk management, compliance, audit readiness and governance for all Premier partnership programs within scope.
• Establish and maintain effective controls, processes and documentation to ensure risks are identified, monitored, and mitigated on an ongoing basis.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, customer behaviors, and regulatory changes impacting the Premier segment.

 

Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience

 

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in credit card products, partnerships, or affluent/Premier customer segments within banking or financial services.
• Strong experience working with multiple stakeholders across business, risk and control functions.
• Proven ability to analyze commercial performance, customer insights and risk considerations to drive informed decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and external partners.
• Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements relevant to retail banking and card products.
• Experience with data analysis tools (e.g. SAS or equivalent) is an advantage.
