HSBC VIET NAM GRADUATE PROGRAMME 2026
Our 24 months Graduate Programme will make the most of your skills regardless of what subject you’ve studied. You’ll be encouraged to bring your enthusiasm to inspire your new team and deliver great service to millions of customers. You will complete several rotational placements, each of typically between three to six months in duration, each designed to give you a broad exposure to our core business operations. You will have the opportunity to develop your capabilities and gain critical business experience, across areas in your selected Businesses & Functions. Signature of the role: starting with 24 months job rotation and internal short term attachment. After that, the successful candidate will take up a Frontline role as a Relationship Manager or in Product related sales such as Global Trade and Receivables Finance (GTRF) or Global Payment Solutions (GPS).

We are currently seeking ambitious individuals to join this team in the role of CIB Management Associate
In this role you will:
- Assist the Relationship Manager in the dedicated relationship-managed segment with customer servicing, sales and general management, and delivery of fair customer outcomes.
- Responsible for own development with the support of Head of Performance.
- Prepared to accept attachments within different business areas and/or different national localities to benefit from any available development opportunities
- Sets own stretching objectives from the learning outcomes for each attachment with agreement with the assigned manager of the attachment
- Able to identify appropriate networking opportunities with the support of your manager
- Accept feedback and guidance from the managers of the attachments and people managers with regards to the career development including attachments and destination roles
- Be active in CIB Banking and HSBC’s community
- Organising end of attachment feedback and sharing this document with managers of the attachments and the Direct Manager.
REQUIREMENTS:
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Have at least a second-class honours degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognised university in Vietnam or overseas (recent graduates will be considered)
- Have the legal right to work in Vietnam
- Be fluent in English and Vietnamese
The positions are for graduates looking for the skills, guidance, knowledge and global exposure to develop with a leading global bank. The programme provides opportunities to build your technical and leadership capabilities and, on completion, progress quickly into frontline role and fast track to first leadership role.
Applications must be submitted by the close of business on 05 Jul 2026. Candidates will be invited to take online numerical and verbal reasoning tests; situation judgement test and, if successful, a first round interview. An assessment center will be held in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam in the next 2 weeks of July 2026 for those who meet the required benchmarks at the first round interview.

Over the first 24 months, you will receive training in the CIB Banking stream. Through a range of placements, you will have vital exposure to the core areas within CIB Banking, which will provide you with a sound foundation of knowledge and skills relating to client management, banking solutions and operations. In CIB Banking, placements include Relationship Management, Business Management, Global Trade and Receivables Finance, and Global Payment Solutions.
You’ll learn how to analyse, prioritise and act on goals from a strategic perspective.
