We are currently seeking a high-caliber professional to join our team as Internship, Global Trade Solutions.

Roles & Responsibilities: 

In this role, you will:

• Involve in GTS products & processes (operational works relating to Trade Loan/Factoring/Import/Export/ Guarantee/Standby LC along with their documentations/validation/data input etc.). Assist team with queries on MI data extraction & analysis (e.g. pipeline, FUR, asset, revenue/TOI, transactions details...)
• Collect market intelligence related to trade/industries/sectors/corridors from public sources (e.g. GSO, Customs, official news websites, etc.)
• Support internal/external events including but not limited to presentation/material/translation/design/logistics etc. Participate in GTS ongoing projects, for example: Transactional basis, Services Review, Simplification, Tariff review, BWG engagement, Client Surveys...
• Attend training from various resources within HSBC Learning (i.e. online courses) and on-the-job coaching
• Handle any other tasks as assigned by team from time to time

Qualifications & Experience

• Being a student from universities/educational institutions (not graduated yet) with major relevant to either international trade/corporate finance/accounting or similar credits
• Ability to intern full-time from Mon to Fri in 6 months
• Have a recommendation letter for their internship period from universities/educational institutions
• Strong communication, interpersonal and research skills
• Strong command in English and computer skills (especially Data analysis on Excel and Slides design on Power Point/Canva)
• Can-do attitude, proactive in assigned tasks and other activities
• Positive mindset and willingness to learn
