We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as Credit Control Officer.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Daily Processing:
- Administrative task within the in-house litigation team, maintaining of department’s records and file
- Translation of laws, contracts, drafting legal documents within CCR Collections
- To support Head and other professional staff of the department
- To visit/discuss with customer where possible to resolve the case before taking further legal actions.
- To attend mediation board / institute proceedings against defendant at the Courts to protect HSBC’s interests
- To follow up on these mediation board cases and transferring cases for further legal actions if a settlement is not reached
- To follow up on Court cases, discussing / seeking advices / strategies with the LGA / external lawyers for the next actions;
- To contribute to safeguard the Bank from loss / risk:
- Ensure strictly compliance to LCM, DIMs, Regional Guidance, LGA FIMs system procedure manual and other relevant guidelines or regulatory standards advised by Managers / HSBC
- Maintain HSBC internal controls standard including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators to minimize operational risks
- To deliver the highest quality of customer services:
- Ensuring the services standard is met, and the external and internal customers are satisfied
- Contribute by delivery initiatives to improve customer services
Knowledge/Special Skills Requirements
- Knowleage of core banking products
- 1-3 years experience
- Bachelor’s degree
- Good knowledge of legislation
- Experience in drafting legal documents (contracts, statements of claim,…)
- Possession supervisory and have excellent communication and interpersonal negotiation skills
- Good typing skill, good communication in English and PC
