We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as an CCM Transaction Services Officer
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The establishment of the Business Services locations within GSD is a key part of Global Businesses strategy, aimed at business growth, drive global consistency, improve customer service and reduce operational risk.
- The GSD environment emphasises on the delivery of a highly professional customer focused service, with a continuous undertaking for improvement in terms of service and cost effectiveness.
- This role is important in executing customer transactions on daily basis in line with agreed policy and is vital in the first line of defense in managing operational and compliance risk.
Management of Risk
- Ensure that every transaction processed is done so in compliance with Risk and other policies mandated by FIM, particularly in the area of sanctions screening.
- Alert management to any transactions that appear out of the ordinary or suspicious in any way.
- Highlight areas or processes that present high levels of Risk
Observation of Internal Controls
- Maintains HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
- Abides by the FIM, Group Compliance and Risk policy at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
- Prior experience and background required.
- Good knowledge of the products/systems/applications used in the operational environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Proven track record towards high level of customer service.
