Job Profile
The Portfolio Service Management is responsible for managing portfolio management support activities within the allocated portfolio as required by the Transformation/PMO/Management Services function
- Managing IT planning including Headwinds,Run the Bank (RTB) and Change the Bank (CTB) for all the local services effectively.
- Running projects as Project Manager (managing business, engaging stakeholders, effective communication and adhere to agreed timelines).
- Assessment & review of Cloud systems workloads, and driving Cloud agenda in compliance with the Country regulations
- Manage the service continuity via a formal Business Impact Assessment (BIA), understanding the Business Maximum Disruption Time (MDT) and ensure this is reflected in the service Recovery Time Objective.
- Identify, in conjunction with the business, new initiatives that may impact the service whereby this may include new products or changes to existing products.
- Ensure that the service continues to meet the customer’s needs & demands and takes corrective action where necessary. This includes, but is not limited to, formal service availability reporting against agreed availability targets.
- Ensure that Non-Functional requirements are completed via the ITSA Process during managing a project tasks.
- For externally hosted services, ensure that the support model is included within the contract and managing the relationship with the vendor along with the business owner.
- Ensure capacity planning is maintained for all services; including business expected growth in IT planning.
Experience
- Evidence of effective working with a distributed team
- A track record of overseeing delivery of multiple, large scale, complex programmes and projects
- Thorough knowledge of risk management
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly build relationships with key stakeholders
- A wide knowledge of IT hardware, software, operations and networks
- Deep understanding of the Country’s regulations.
