We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager Trainee
Business: GLOBAL FINANCE
Principal responsibilities
- To produce and review Liquidity reports, which includes Liquidity Coverage Ratio (LCR) report, Net Stable Funding Ratio (NSFR) report, Prudential Regulatory Authority 110, Internal Liquidity Metric (ILM), Additional Monitoring Metrics (AMM) report, ALCO packs and other liquidity reports viz. Depositors Conc, Term Funding etc.
- The process involves liaising with in-country team members over email and phone. The role requires good understanding of (1) financial products, (2) market product specific knowledge and (3) financial /management reporting (with balance sheet focus) (4) Basel III framework
- The role is also accountable for implementing new reports as per group framework and also for ensuring adherence of reports to the guidelines – internal & regulatory.
- Ensuring appropriate Reconciliation & Validation controls are applied to maintain consistency of accounting processes across the submissions.
- Aligns practices with existing other teams in ALCM to embed global processes and standard EUC’s
Qualification
- A qualified professional (preferably CA or ICWA or MBA or CFA) with overall post qualification experience of 2+ years.
- Sound knowledge of the Financial/Banking Services industry, products and systems.
- Sound understanding of IFRS, experience in analysis of financial statements, IFRS and audit/compliance
- Flexibility, tenacity and the ability to maintain enthusiasm on long running or complex process re-design initiatives.
- Self-motivated and capable of working as part of a team.
- Very strong MS Office skills. (ability to use macros, arrays and other advanced excel formulas)
- Must be detail oriented and possess strong analytical skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to work under pressure, report under tight deadlines and deal effectively with issues as they arise.
- Should be open to shifts and willing to work in flexible hours as per the process requirements
What additional skills will be good to have?
- Prior experience in Regulatory Reporting, Liquidity or Financial Reporting function will be an advantage.
- Preferably having knowledge and experience in Basel III/CRDIV and PRA regulatory rules; AOP & Stress Testing reporting.
- The role holder will also continually reassess the operational risks associated with the role and inherent in the business, taking account of changing economic or market conditions, legal and regulatory requirements, operating procedures and practices, management restructurings, and the impact of new technology.
- Knowledge of Python, R, Xceptor or any upcoming technology used within Finance for automation would be preferred. Excellent working knowledge of MS and advanced technical related products i.e PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, Tableau etc.
