We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join the Credit Services team located at located at Gurgaon. Credit Services team is responsible for monitoring the operational aspects of facilities granted to the customers; operational aspects of the loans portfolio and Regulatory Reporting for credit and lending for Wholesale Banking Business.

Job Introduction

Checker level profile required in the Credit Services Team located at Gurgaon. The job will cover almost all the working branches of Credit Services team covering Regulatory Reporting, Security Documentation and Loans Processing aspects of the credit side of the Wholesale Banking division.

Principal Responsibilities

  • To cover the regulatory reporting as per various statutory and group requirements.
  • To handle and collate various Returns to be submitted to HHO/RBI/Internal Auditors
  • To prepare various MIS that are required for regulatory reporting.
  • To work on various security documentation related task independently and ensure completion of the same in specified timelines.
  • To look after the operational aspect of Credit i.e.  Loading of Limits on HUB, Loading of Auto reduction of limits,  passing entries for provisioning/write off for Bad and Doubtful accounts.
  • To safeguard the Bank from potential loss on lending by ensuring that security documentation for accounts is obtained from the customers promptly as per FAL/Security Section of the CARM application.
  • To ensure that the security documents are enforceable and in line with BIM Vol 3/ local regulations/ laws. To check that necessary charges have been created in the Bank’s favour.
  • To ensure that security documents are loaded on HUB and are kept under dual control. To issue and verify the Facility Advise Letter as per CARM / CM approval.
  • To ensure highest levels of service to both internal and external customers, and with the objective of protecting the interests of the bank at all times within the spectrum of activities relating to MIS, compliance with regulatory requirements, interface with the external auditors, and NPA related support activities
 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in accounting, finance or similar field;
  • Awareness of the types and nature of credit products, security types and processes would be an added advantage;
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communications, financial and interpersonal skills;
  • Expert knowledge of MS Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively & Attention to details

Eligibility Criteria

  • India Bank / INM employees will be eligible to apply to this role after completion of 12 months in the current role/position at the time of application on level transfer and/or promotion.
  • Entity Employees (not from India Bank) to be guided by their internal policy on tenure completion in current role at the time of application before applying and share line manager approval once shortlisted
  • INM Employees in scope of WPB Career Progression Framework not eligible to apply to roles within the purview of the Framework.
