We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Manager,FC DT Customer Mntrg

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Data analytics and data science support: Tasks will include writing codes from scratch to extract raw data from Bank data platforms, analyzing large quantities of data to extract useful information and insights, and building diagrammatic visuals to present data effectively. The role holder is expected to ensure timely and accurate delivery of analytical outputs at a rapid tempo and for a diverse set of internal and external audiences.  Key responsibilities and requirements include:
  • Writing BigQuery™/SQL/Python code to perform data analytics for financial crime risk detection, including (but not limited to) bespoke data analysis, data transformation, data quality check, feature build, model development, deployment and maintenance.
  • Apply optimal combinations of applied mathematics, statistics, visualisation and data engineering to the area of combatting financial crime.
  • Build on necessary skills (including those described above) through targeted training and personal development
  • Model understanding: Develop a clear vision of the model and development- deployment pipeline that aligns with business goals and user needs, executing it effectively to ensure it meets the program objectives.
  • Deliver as per Product Roadmap: Clear and comprehensive understanding of product roadmap for your pod, prioritized features and initiatives based on business value and market trends. Help the POD members deliver accurately as per prioritized product features using the Value Stream model, ensuring optimal value delivery through each iteration.
  • Code optimization: Adhere to Data Science responsibilities within an Agile Scrum framework, ensuring correct and optimized code writing, promote transparency, collaboration amongst all other colleagues within and across PODs (Analytics, Product, IT and Transformation), and a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Complete Model Documentation and drive Model Approval: As a Data Scientist in the POD, provide support to ensure all model documents are updated maintaining right standard. Help support follow-up analysis to close outstanding findings from Model Governance / IMR / Audit.
  • Release Management: Support model development as per strategic development/ deployment framework of DRA to keep the solution optimized, enriched and future ready.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation and experimentation to optimize product performance and customer satisfaction.

 

What you will need to succeed in the role:

  • University degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics, Statistics or related disciplines
  • Experience in data analytics or programming, with a focus on Machine Learning.
    Understanding of Statistical concepts and their application in ML algorithms.
  • Hands on knowledge of Machine Learning concepts and development codes.
  • Strong analytical mind and willing to enrich technical knowledge in the field of data analytics.
    Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Working experience on Jira and confluence (preferred)
    Proven track record of delivering/ deploying analytical solutions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
