We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Software Engineering Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

• This role demands someone with hands on development experience and deliver code to production.
• Create statergy on how Software Security products & services can ventur into our own observability platform and capture usage patterns making data driven design.
• Implement the changes needed to onboard data driven design by extracting data from products, creating data pipelines & using open source data visualization tool like Grafana or GCP Looker studio.
• Deliver Observability platform which is integrated will all the products of Software Security space and showcase OKRs. 

• Hands on passionate technologist who is delivering code to production.
• Ideally does one or more for the following – blogs about technology, has a Github portfolio and/or contributes to open source.
• Expert knowledge on atleast one of the languages: Python, JAVA & Node js (React).
• Ability to follow the industry shifts (Go-Lang or Rust) and offerings across the full-stack includes Cloud (GCP), Data bases (PostgreSQL).
• Expertise in extracting useful information from data.
• Experience of creating Data pipeline, Data visualization, analytics, and monitoring tool (e.g. Grafana, GCP looker studio).  
• A problem solver that can translate business opportunities into technical solutions.
• A broad capability of modern programming languages and the ability to choose the ‘right tool for the job’. 
• Be able to constructively challenge existing thinking and develop improved paths forward.
• Maintains a strong knowledge of IT development methodology, architecture design, engineering solutions, and technical standards.
• Mentor and share knowledge with others on the team, and outside teams where required.
• Always consider automation for a solution from the start.  Help to reduce the toil and time-consuming portions of the technology to help developers become more agile and deliver solutions quickly and securely.
• A continuous learner staying up-to-date and guiding the engineering community on evolving trends.

• Leads other people to use or change their behaviours; this includes "transferring their expertise”.
• Influences way beyond their own immediate department.
• Someone who can identify risk related to Software Security.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
