We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Sr. Associate Director, Cybersecurity Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Leadership & Transformation:
  • Support leadership in transforming the CSAT engineering team into a customer-centric, high-performance technology organization.
  • Implement and champion strategic alignment frameworks like V2MOM to connect the team's daily work to the company's strategic objectives.
  • Design a modernized organizational structure and define new ways of working to accelerate our transformation into a product-oriented organization.
  • Work as a trusted advisor to influence senior executives on transformation strategy and support its implementation.
  • Inspire the organization to embrace innovation 

 

  1. Engineering Excellence & Continuous Improvement:
  • Introduce industry best practices for engineering excellence, such as DORA and the SPACE, to measure and improve performance.
  • Implement "Shift Left" strategies to integrate quality and security validation earlier in the development lifecycle, reducing friction and improving outcomes.
  • Assess engineering workflows and processes to identify bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement.
  • Coach delivery PODs on effective retrospectives to build a continuous improvement mindset into the team's DNA.
  • Support the management team in building a 'blameless' culture that encourages experimentation and learning from failure.

 

  1. Product Mindset & Developer Experience:
  • Introduce and embed a "product mindset" for the team's portfolio of delivery, defining a clear product roadmap and driving incremental delivery.
  • Actively engage with the developer community to shape and enhance the Developer Experience (DevEx).
  • Embed integration with our user experience (UX) practice to shift the team from a reactive to a proactive, user-centric model.
  • Coach the team on building effective feedback loops with customers and establish a structured process for managing customer complaints.

 

  1. Team & Talent Development:
  • Assess team skill and capability maturity, defining and implementing a training plan that aligns with team and individual improvement roadmaps.
  • Establish a team of highly-skilled engineers that will cross-pollinate best practices and engineering excellence across the wider organization.
  • Champion initiatives focused on improving team health, morale, and overall employee satisfaction.

 


 

  1. Collaboration & Brand Building:
  • Connect the CSAT team's improvement initiatives with peer teams to create a holistic, collaborative environment.
  • Promote the team's achievements to the wider organization, both internally and externally, to build its brand and showcase its value.

 

  1. CSAT Wide Process Improvement:
  • Identify areas for process improvement and develop plans to implement changes
  • Analyze current processes, identify inefficiencies, and develop solutions to address them
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement new processes or modify existing ones
  • Develop and maintain process documentation, including process maps, policies, and procedures
  • Collaborate with Business Architecture and Enterprise Architecture to help create and maintain process documentation.
  • Monitor and report on process performance, identifying areas for further improvement
  • Facilitate process improvement workshops and training sessions
  • Work with cross-functional teams to implement process changes and ensure adoption
  • Develop and implement metrics to measure process effectiveness

 

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 15+ years of experience in the IT industry, with a proven track record of leading digital transformation in a large-scale organization.
  • The ability to think strategically while staying on top of tactical execution.
  • Expertise in Agile and Lean principles, with good knowledge of DevSecOps practices.
  • Strong digital mindset and the ability to develop the same within the organization.
  • Excellent coaching skills and the ability to influence senior executives on strategic transformation decisions.
  • A strong passion for improving team culture, employee satisfaction, and Developer Experience.
  • Good working knowledge of modern technologies, with a preference for experience in cybersecurity.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas to diverse audiences.
