We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.

Business: HASE Technology

Principal responsibilities

• Work with the team to deliver E2E solution for lending business in a cost effective way.
• Provide assistance in technical leadership for the design, development, implementation and maintenance of HSBC IT systems to supported business units
• Provide Production Support service including resolution of the live incidents
• Provide technical expertise in finding root cause of major system problems
• Apply specialist expertise in the development of IT systems with the objective of optimising operational performance and improving quality whilst increasing cost-effectiveness
• Communicate with the relevant stake holder regarding resolving technical issues related to delivery of projects  

Requirements

• More than 7 years on IT development and IT project delivery
• Strong communication skills and proved experience of working in global environment
• Strong technical skills in Java/SQL/Linux/Shell script etc.
• Capable to provide the IT solution and architecture diagram for related Cards projects
• Proactive, self-motivated, independent working ability, high sense of responsibility
• Experience in relevant banking cards product is preferred
