We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Software Engineer.
Business: Enterprise Technology L3
Principal responsibilities
- Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle, utilizing their skills and expertise to carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these according to demand.
- Draw-up detailed technical designs for components in response to business requirements and high-level technical architecture.
- Create technical test plans and records, including unit and integration tests, within automated test environments to ensure code quality.
- Ensure service resilience, service sustainability and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
- Is responsible for automating the continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline within a DevOps Product/Service team driving a culture of continuous improvement.
- Participate in intra-day and overnight (rarely, when called) support.
Requirements
- Bachelor degree with major or minor in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- A Strong knowledge of Agile development and Devops tool (e.g. Confluence, JIRA, GitHUB, Eclips, Jenkins, etc).
- Prior experience in working in a diversified or matrix team structure patterns.
- Hands on experience of CI/D pipelines, modern deployment and release methodologies including automated configuration and provisioning at scale.
- Good communication/presentation skills, strong team player who has the ability to work independently and proactively.
- Should have hands on experience on Windows, Linux platform and deep knowledge of Java 8, Oracle, TM1, DataStage.
