The role is part of Wholesale Credit and Lending team function focus on Credit and Lending Approval. Our team is majorly working on deliverying API projects to support the integration between CARM (Credit Approval and Risk Management system) and the other lending channels.    

The Opportunity:    
This role is majorly responsible for development of key API functions, review the teamate's codes, develop high performance teams, improve the team DevOps maturity by streamlining the CI/CD pipelines, automate release procedures and etc. Work with the Pod lead to provide the technical solution of the new requirements.    

What you’ll do:    
• Design and implement IT solutions to meet business users’ requirements.
• Alignment with project managers to track key deliverables.
• Act as developer  to join the Agile development team
• Supporting pod leads to run Agile ceremonies and raise the pods' Agile/DevOps maturity. 
• Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices 
• Work closely with WCL global team on joint development and maintenance projects. 
• Contribute to deliver future state architecture to transform the existing legacy system."    

What you will need to succeed in the role:     
• Final-year Bachelor's, Master's or postgraduate students, or recent graduates 
• Proficient in Java application development & API development
• Be fluent in English and Mandarin.
• Skillfull on CI/CD solutions and  experiences on Automation testing technologies . 
• Be legally permitted to work in mainland China."    

What additional skills will be good to have?     
• Great technical skills and project experience on GCP is an advantage.
• Preferred tooling experience:  Ansible, Cloudbees, AppDynamic, Splunk, Cloudbees, iSeries, Cobol, DB2 etc"
