We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leveraging Strategic Partnerships workstream: Support the programme management of IDP's partnerships workstream feeding the Group AI programme, including maintaining plans, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs and related tracking, and helping ensure deliverables remain aligned to wider programme expectations.
  • Programme governance and reporting: Support the governance and reporting cycle for the workstream by preparing status updates, coordinating inputs for steering and programme forums, and helping maintain an accurate and timely view of progress, risks and key outcomes.
  • Cross-workstream integration: Work with stakeholders across the Group AI programme to track dependencies, surface issues, and help ensure partnership-related activities, timelines and benefits are reflected consistently in the broader programme view.
  • Strategy development and execution: Support the Director, Innovation & Partnerships in the development and execution of the function's strategy by conducting analysis, preparing materials, coordinating follow-ups, and helping translate agreed priorities into actionable plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Operating rhythm and governance: Support the operating rhythm for the Director and wider team by coordinating agendas, preparing materials, capturing actions, and tracking progress to completion.
  • Team effectiveness and organisational health: Contribute to team initiatives including onboarding, colleague engagement, internal communications, capability-building activities and team-wide coordination that support an effective and collaborative environment.
  • Special initiatives: Support strategic projects and analyses on behalf of the Director and the wider team, helping frame issues, gather inputs, develop materials and support implementation.

Governance and Committee Memberships

  • Supports the preparation of agendas, papers and actions for relevant team forums and contributes materials and coordination for Group AI programme governance activities as required.

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Work collaboratively across partnership, innovation and technology teams in multiple jurisdictions, building strong working relationships and supporting delivery across a matrix environment without direct line management responsibility.
  • Contribute to team effectiveness by connecting activities across stakeholders, communicating clearly, surfacing issues in a timely manner, and following through on agreed actions and commitments.

 

Requirements

  • Programme coordination: Experience supporting complex programmes, projects or workstreams in a large organisation, including planning, dependency tracking, risk management, governance and status reporting.
  • Strategic analysis: Ability to structure problems, conduct analysis, and contribute to clear, well-supported recommendations for management audiences.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience preparing clear materials, updates and presentations for senior stakeholders.
  • Stakeholder engagement: Good ability to work with a range of stakeholders across business, technology and external partnership environments to support alignment and execution.
  • AI: Working knowledge of artificial intelligence and its practical application in financial services, with the ability to engage with colleagues on key topics and translate technical developments into business-relevant updates.
  • Partnerships: Understanding of how strategic technology and AI partnerships are managed and governed within a large, regulated organisation.
