We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities
Quality Strategy & Delivery
● Define and implement test strategy, test plans, quality gates, and release entry/exit criteria (DoR/DoD).
● Manage testing scope, priorities, resourcing and timelines; proactively identify risks and drive mitigation actions.
● Own defect management end-to-end: triage, prioritisation, root cause analysis (RCA), prevention actions, and continuous improvement.
● Ensure appropriate test coverage across functional, regression, integration and end-to-end testing; coordinate performance/security testing where relevant.
Team Leadership & Capability Building
● Lead, coach and develop QA engineers; provide clear direction, feedback and performance support.
● Establish and maintain testing standards: test design, reviews, traceability, test data and environment practices.
● Support hiring and upskilling (e.g., automation, performance, SDETs) aligned to the team’s roadmap.
Automation & Quality Engineering
● Build and maintain automated testing across API/UI/Integration layers to reduce manual effort and accelerate delivery.
● Embed testing into CI/CD pipelines (smoke/regression, reporting, alerts) and promote shift-left practices.
● Partner with DevOps/platform teams to improve test environment stability, test data strategy, and observability (logs/metrics/traces).
Stakeholder Management & Reporting
● Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Architecture, Security, Operations and business stakeholders to align quality expectations and acceptance criteria.
● Provide transparent quality reporting to leadership (risk, defect trends, pass rates, coverage, release readiness) and support informed go/no-go decisions.
Requirements
● Bachelor’s degree (Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline preferred).
● 10+ years in QA/testing/quality engineering, including 2+ years in a Test Lead/QA Lead role.
● Strong understanding of SDLC/STLC, test design techniques, risk-based testing, and agile delivery.
● Hands-on experience in UI test automation using Java / Appium / Selenium
● Solid API testing automation experience (e.g., RestAssured, pytest, Postman/Newman, Karate).
● CI/CD and test pipeline integration (e.g. Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
● Experience with defect and delivery tooling (e.g., Jira/Confluence or equivalents).
● Strong communication and influencing skills across multiple teams/time zones.
