We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Business: Asia & Middle East Technology

Principal responsibilities

Full Stack Delivery

• Own the delivery lifecycle: requirement clarification, solution design, development, testing and production release (front-end + back-end).
• Design and build scalable, highly available backend services and APIs using Java (e.g., Spring Boot) with REST and/or GraphQL.
• Build and improve front-end experiences using modern frameworks (React/Angular/Vue), promoting reusable components and engineering best practices.

AI/LLM Enablement

• Integrate LLM capabilities into business workflows (enterprise Q&A, RAG, summarisation, classification/extraction, etc.).
• Contribute to designing and implementing RAG architectures: vector search, embeddings, reranking, permission trimming, caching/fallback, and prompt management.
• Establish engineering practices for AI features: evaluation metrics, offline/online testing, observability (quality/latency/cost), and A/B experiments.
• Partner with Security/Compliance to implement data protection and output safety controls (PII handling, prompt injection mitigation, access control).

AWS Engineering & Reliability

• Build and operate services on AWS (e.g., containerisation, auto-scaling, deployment and rollback).
• Drive CI/CD, automated testing (unit/integration/E2E), logging/metrics/tracing and alerting.
• Support incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis (RCA), and continuous improvement to strengthen reliability and delivery efficiency.

Senior-Level Impact

• Act as a technical owner in cross-team delivery: break down work, manage risks, and drive outcomes.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, pairing and knowledge sharing.

Requirements

• Solid full stack engineering experience delivering complex features end-to-end.
• Backend: strong Java skills; experience with Spring Boot / Spring ecosystem; sound API design and service governance.
• Frontend: experience with at least one modern framework (React/Angular/Vue); ability to write maintainable, testable code.
• Data: good knowledge of relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL/Oracle) and SQL; familiarity with caching (e.g., Redis) is a plus.
• Engineering practices: Git, code reviews, testing strategy, CI/CD; strong awareness of secure coding (e.g., OWASP Top 10).
• AI foundations: understanding of LLM application patterns (Prompt/RAG/Tool calling) and ability to integrate and evaluate AI features.
