We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities:

•      Design robust, resilient and scalable IT solutions and lead full stack engineers to develop and implement IT solutions to meet business users’ requirements.

•      Continuously enhance and transform the system to improve system observability, stability and scalability.

•      Drive and adopt advanced engineering practices and principles to the pod.

•      Lead DevSecOps transformation activities to improve OKRs including but not limited to improve release cadence, reduce incidents and reduce TOIL.

•      Drive technical capability uplift for the pod members.

•      Work closely with Chief Product Owner, Product Owner and User Representatives.

•      Ensure the IT risk and controls requirements are met.

•      Be involved in actual implementation of solutions, performing impact assessments, performance tuning, testing and deployments throughout the delivery cycle. Utilize the technical skills and expertise to carry out /help team to do software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between these from time to time according to demand.

•      Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency etc. that are applicable.

 

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications:

•      8+ years IT experience in system development., experience in Financial Risk Management (especially investment banking products and market risk) is a plus.

•      Strong business-to-technology translation skills: able to analyze complex problems, gather and refine requirements, and convert them into clear artifacts such as user stories, process flows, system context diagrams, swimlanes, and solution proposals.

•      Solid engineering foundation across enterprise and cloud stack: Java/J2EE, Python, Unix/Linux shell scripting, Spring/Spring Boot, REST APIs, Web UI, Oracle (or equivalent), and modern platforms including Kubernetes, Airflow, Superset.

•      Practical delivery and DevOps capability: hands-on with CI/CD and automation tools such as Jenkins and Ansible, plus Agile toolsets including Jira, Confluence, and GitHub.

•      Proven leadership in execution: experience leading developers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, sustainable changes that measurably improve business outcomes.

•      Excellent communication and stakeholder management: fluent spoken and written English, strong documentation, negotiation, and collaboration skills for global teams across regions and time zones.

•      High ownership mindset: self-starter, proactive learner, adaptable in fast-paced environments, and able to work independently under pressure with multiple deadlines.

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

•      Business knowledge in Traded Risk.

•      Technical experience in system architecture design.

•      Technical experience in micro service architecture, Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC.

•      Agile or DevOps experience.

•      API and micro service technologies.

•      Python, SQL..

•      Container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

•      Any Open Source project participation or any Github or blog publication.
