We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

• Provide IT project delivery, and assist project manager on project planning, stakeholder communication, development, testing, release and so on.
• Lead or assist teammate to provide business & technical solution fit for business need.
• Accountability for a product or service, identifying and developing the most appropriate technology solutions to meet customer needs as part of the Customer Journey.
• Liaise with other teams, include architects, business stakeholders and so on to understand and drive the product or service’s direction.
• Conduct end-to-end system tests, user acceptance tests and provide support on system implementation.
• Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
• Prepare project-related documentation and provide support on compliance and audit checking.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record (5+ years) in IT project manager role and (5+ years) in development role.
• Proficiency in project and delivery management with large/medium scale deliverables with strong track record.
• Experience working in SDLC / Agile Development Methodologies.
• Have basic knowledge in programming language (e.g., Java, Python, AS400).
• A successful history of delivering complex projects and/or programmes, utilising appropriate techniques and tools to ensure and measure success.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Cantonese would be an advantage.
• Experience in HSBC / HASE Wealth systems would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in AI and python would be an advantage.
