We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

Through working with various stakeholders in DCSR and GB/GF IT teams, the jobholder will:

• Delivery of working software from concept to live using Agile methodologies.
• Help align business goals with release plans to ensure timely delivery of features.
• Accountable for day-to-day control tooling production support management and improve user experience with proper support model design.
• Embed CI/CD methodologies and DevOps working model in Pod.
• Arrange and lead agile ceremonies, daily scrum, sprint planning, refinement sessions, discovery sessions, sprint demo and retrospectives.
• Challenge to team to improve on process and inspire them to find new better ways of working.
• Help identify and mitigate delivery risks.

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

• University graduate in computer science or a related discipline with more than 8 years’ hands on working experience in application support and development.
• In depth understanding Spring framework, Java Development, Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiar with DevOps tooling – JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, Git, Ansible. Build up CICD pipeline from zero experience.
• Proven proficient experience in production support experience and strong sense of service while facing business user.
• Proven risk and issue management skills, stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills and an ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple manner to global audience.
• Ability to cope with different work cultures across regions/countries.
• Excellent team player with ability to work under minimal supervision, great communication skill is a plus.
• Provide training, guidance, assistance, and knowledge transfer among team members.
• Cloud(GCP/AWS/Azure/ACP) experience is desired.
• Mode2 certificated experience would be an advantage.
• AI relevant product development experience would be an advantage.
• Experience of leading a large-scale IT Project delivery would be an advantage.

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
