We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Consultant Specialist (AI Guardrail).

Principal responsibilities
- Build control plane services for policy and detector lifecycle management (configuration, versioning, rollout/rollback, enablement/change/deprecation) and expose them via platform APIs.
- Design and implement detection orchestration patterns: rule-based checks, ML model inference, LLM-based detection (e.g., LLM-as-judge), and third‑party detection API integration, with consistent interfaces and governance controls.
- Deliver evaluation workflows for detectors (offline/online), including dataset management hooks, scoring, thresholding, regression checks, and effectiveness reporting.
- Implement governance and HITL workflows: approvals, audit trails, traceability, review queues, and exception handling for policy/detector changes.
- Build AI observability for guardrails: detector telemetry, policy enforcement analytics, and operational dashboards/alerts (e.g., OpenTelemetry/OpenInference integration).
- Drive multi-tenant platform capabilities (tenant isolation, quotas, configuration boundaries) and improve onboarding/usability for internal teams.
Requirements
- Senior Backend & Cloud-Native Experience: 6+ years of professional software engineering experience, with 4+ years focused on building and operating distributed, cloud-native backend services and APIs (REST/gRPC) in production.
- Advanced System Design & Control Plane: Proven experience building control plane capabilities, including configuration-driven systems, lifecycle workflows, and safe rollout/rollback strategies.
- Hands-on AI Engineering & Evaluation: Practical AI engineering experience delivering detection solutions (e.g., ML inference, LLM classification) and a solid understanding of model/detector evaluation, including metrics, monitoring, and turning results into operational decisions.
- Production Operations & Orchestration: Strong experience with workflow orchestration (async jobs, operational pipelines), production troubleshooting (incident triage, root-cause analysis), and observability practices (e.g., OpenTelemetry).
- Cloud & DevOps Proficiency: Expertise in cloud-native development using Kubernetes/Docker on at least one major public cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), coupled with experience using various datastores (relational/NoSQL).
- AI-Native Mindset & Leadership: Demonstrates a strong "AI-native" mindset, leveraging AI tools (e.g., coding assistants) to accelerate development and improve quality, with the ability to drive technical decisions and best practices.
