We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst.

Principal responsibilities

- Locating in Guangzhou, working in with development teams, and serving business across the globe by acting as a functional SME on Accounting domain and contribute to the development of a strategic accounting application and its implementation to multiple businesses in multiple regions. Specifically, this role will be responsible for:

- Elicit, capture, and analyse functional and non-functional requirements for securities services businesses

- Work closely with product, users, artitecture teams and system developers to define data flows and detailed business rules for Accounting Financial systems

- Prepare and maintain test packs for the applications, and participate in or coordinate project testing in multiple phases (e.g. UAT)

- Drive soultion design and provide inputs to system design and implementation

- Provide production support on functional specific queries

- Understand the direction of Finance systems strategic architecture and seek opportunities to accelerate it

- Understand the system data flows from front to back, and provide SME consultation to the team

- Seek opportunities to make the Finance business processes more effective and efficient across business lines and regions

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications 

- Master Degree in international banking and finance or related disciplines

- 5+ year proven experiences in implementing projects for accounting/finicial related applications

- Have strong/solide international backing and finance domain knowledge, and how change drives benefits for bank and clients, and stakeholders

- Lead planning analysis activity with optimal use of resources to help define and track metrics and KPIs for the product.Use of customer, product, and operational procedural insights to optimise experience and propositions.

- Understanding of Product Control, Finance and/or Regulatory processes and workflow

- Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps experience

- Highly developed reasoning and analytical skills

- Self-motivated, enthusiastic and proven fast learner 

What additional skills will be good to have?

- Fullent English communication skills (The candidate has to be capable of communicating effectively with native English speakers through phone or VC)

- Strong communication and presentation skills: can communicate clearly and effectively with tech and non-tech stakeholders, and senior managements

- Financial/Accounting knowledge is preferred

- Python skill is preferred
