We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Security as Platform CTO.

Principal responsibilities

• Provide the Global leadership to drive the engineering of Digital Security Platform(DSP) development and continually improve the product quality.
• Provide the in country on the ground leadership within Digital Authentication & Identity(DA&I) team in China Technology Centres, driving all the team activities in China.
• Working with Digital Platforms leadership team to drive excellence engineering practice.
• Represent DA&I technology across the broader IWPB and Technology communities. 
• Lead, drive and inspire others and those around you to deliver the workforce for the future.
• Drive the Diversity & Inclusion expectations and commitments within the Global DA&I team to deliver a truly diverse workforce. 
• Work closely with Platform Leads, Value Steam Tech Leads, Portfolio and Engineering Heads as part of the Digital Platforms Technology Leadership team.
• Lead a customer-centered culture, championing activities and encouraging everyone to be at their best.
• Typically peer to peer, but expected to engage with colleagues 2 levels above peers, other than peer group key individuals likely to be IWPB CIO’s and China Technology Leadership.
• Strengthen stakeholder relationships, building relationships to influence decisions and ensure stakeholder advocacy using organizational knowledge.
• Drive new ways of operating and shifts in culture across the workforce in Global DA&I team aligned to and leading the broader Digital Platforms and IWPB strategies

Leadership & Teamwork 

• Manage IWPB IT DSP team(200+).
• Leading and directing executive and non-executive work groups and effecting change through people. 
• Managing operational functions, directing process re-engineering and efficiency exercises.
• Ability to lead and influence across a broad range of the Technology organization.
• Strong ability to balance risks vs. rewards and maximizing the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the design and development practices for the Authentication and Authorization of Internet Banking system.
• Technical ability and understanding in relation to Channels’ capability focused on quality and maximum re-use.
• Ability to understanding the relationship between application design, data and infrastructure.
• Large scale and complex enterprise planning capabilities
• Experience in relation to cyber security and knowledge of Cloud.
• Experience of agile at scale methods, using Scaled Agile and DevSecOps tools and processes.
• Demonstrable success in understanding and delivering towards customer needs in large, complex organizations.
• Commercially aware and understands platforms, services and underlying processes to fulfil these.
