We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Product Owner - Client Connectivity.

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Working directly with internal stakeholders and end users to help them implement Client Connectivity propositions and solve their platform queries on client onboarding.
  • Assisting global Product managers and Product directors in the delivery and the execution of initiatives in support of client onboarding staff platforms strategy.
  • Supporting development of product enhancement and innovation within client onboarding staff platforms to create new revenue streams based on business demand and approved investment budget.
  • Partner with product delivery teams closely to drive the iterative delivery of high value features and ensure that the team’s work aligns with overarching business goals and user needs.
  • Representing Staff Platforms in other Client Onboarding workstreams and pods; identifying and understanding deliverables which may lead to new requirements or impact to staff platforms.
  • Contributing to establishing global standards, proposition consistency and implementation of best practices.
  • Assisting with managing product governance cycle and establishing processes and framework to ensure effective control of risks across Staff Platforms.
  • Building a strong network and working relationships with key stakeholders globally, including Business Users, IT and Operations.
  • Supporting regional/local initiatives and contributing towards meeting the respective objectives.
  • Developing product collaterals and establishing strong product library to ensure product know-how is effectively shared.
  • Acquiring understanding of market trends and competitors’ offering.

 

Requirements

Leadership & Teamwork

  • Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and influencing skills to connect with stakeholders across geographies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and fluency in English is expected.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate requirements into business solution design and delivery requirement
  • Ability to advise stakeholders regarding process improvement initiatives and act as a conduit to the Product Manager, sharing stakeholder requirements and feedback.
  • Ability to present complex solutions in clear and concise language.

Qualifications

  • University degree (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial or transaction banking functions with an exposure to Product Management.
  • Experience in implementing large scale product development project.
  • Working knowledge of corporate treasury management processes particularly around cash and Client Connectivity management; relevant certification is a plus.
  • Familiarity with product governance and project management disciplines.
  • Understanding of relevant regulatory environment and impact on Client Connectivity services.
  • Deep understanding of Agile/scrum frameworks, including experience participating in or leading sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective, backlog refinement), relevant certification is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills, with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical audiences and vice versa
  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in agile tools (Jira, Confluence), and Product management software

 

Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
