In this role, you will:

We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to join our LAF SLS China team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in credit analysis and financial modeling, with a focus on complex financing solutions. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex financing transactions, serving the diverse needs of Chinese clients expanding globally and international clients seeking financing in China. 

•    Assist in the origination, structuring, execution, and distribution of corporate flow and event driven financing transactions
•    Support transactions for Chinese clients with financing needs both domestically and internationally, as well as international clients seeking financing solutions within the Chinese market
•    Support the development and enhancement of both corporate and financial sponsor client relationships
•    Prepare credit papers, pitchbooks, and client presentations with a focus on financial and market analysis, transaction rationale, and financing strategies
•    Prepare detailed financial models to assess credit viability, covenant structure, and repayment capability for a diverse client base
•    Coordinate and collaborate with internal stakeholders including Coverage, WCRM, Legal and other LAF teams (Originations, Syndications, Private Credit Origination) to originate new opportunities as well as ensure smooth transaction execution
•    Keep up with market, sector and competitive trends while developing product and sector knowledge
•    Keep abreast of external factors influencing both domestic and international business, e.g. economic, cultural, geographical, procedural and regulatory requirements
•    Effectively monitor, manage, mitigate and escalate financial and non-financial risks
•    Comply with all applicable laws, rules and codes with adherence to all internal policies/guidelines and external regulatory requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

•    Bachelor's degree in a related field
•    Minimum of 2 years of experience in leveraged finance or wholesale credit with sound credit and product knowledge
•    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consume large volumes of information and distill key areas of focus
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mandarin, Cantonese will be a plus
•    Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively with different stakeholders under tight deadlines
