We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Business Analyst.
Business: CIB - GPS Technology
Principal responsibilities
- Elicit and document detailed business requirements from stakeholders (Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, IT).
- Translate requirements into well‑structured user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritized backlog items.
- Define and validate API integration logic and data mapping specifications (field mappings, formats, validation rules, error handling).
- Create and maintain API contract artifacts (OpenAPI/Swagger examples, sample requests/responses).
- Collaborate with architects, developers, tester, and integration teams to refine technical design and sequencing (sequence diagrams, flowcharts).
- Support sprint planning, grooming, and clarification during development.
- Develop integration test cases, data scenarios, and support UAT execution.
- Identify and document business rules, edge cases, and regulatory/KYC requirements affecting onboarding flows.
- Communicate progress, risks, and decision points to stakeholders in clear English.
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst in banking, payments, or financial services.
- Proven experience with API driven projects and complex integrations.
- Strong understanding of data mapping, JSON/XML, RESTful APIs, authentication flows (OAuth/JWT).
- Experience writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria (Agile/Scrum environment).
- Excellent written and verbal English skills; experience working with distributed teams.
- Proficient with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Swagger/OpenAPI, Postman, and Excel Sheets.
- Willingness to collaborate across time zones and attend stakeholder workshops.
