We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Lead Analyst, Workforce Planning.

 

Business: GCIO COO, Workforce Management

 

Principal responsibilities 

Workforce Management:

  • Day-to-day management of a bottom-up, role-based plan for permanent and non-permanent roles, aligned to funded projects & priorities for service line(s)
  • Work closely with the Ops Manager for each service line to understand workforce requirements, implement the workforce plan and drive all transactional activity
  • Ensure the policies & procedures driven by Central team are adhered to by Ops Manager and hiring managers
  • Perform all contingent workforce management including onboarding and offboarding, management of tenure tracking etc
  • Ensure the highest data quality in Pioneer
  • Management of the recruitment pipeline within service line, driving tasks to completion

Workforce Engagement:

  • Supporting the Workforce China Lead in fostering a sense of community and belonging across the team, increasing engagement for staff through targeted, meaningful and consistent activity.
  • Helping to shape and deliver internal CIB Technology China specific engagement plans that connect back to, and support key strategies across Technology, and the wider Bank.
  • With or on behalf of the China Centre Lead, representing CIB Technology China in comms and engagement forums.
  • Supporting the agenda and organisation of forums including All Hands, Town Halls, colleague exchanges, and others as appropriate – and understanding feedback data provided at these forums.
  • Assisting in / creating and disseminating high quality, clear, engaging content for a range of key stakeholders.
  • Working on programmes that support targeted learning across the team, driving knowledge sharing and DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) initiatives.
  • Being active in, and connecting with, various DEI forums across Technology in alignment with the Engagement Lead.
  • Working on initiatives that support and develop talent across the department and enable the well-being and psychological safety of the team.
  • Supporting positive change across the organisation through a strong network of colleagues who contribute to culture change, comms and engagement, and support the Technology Strategy and People Strategy for GCIO

 

Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications

  • Understanding of workforce management E2E lifecycle and recruitment processes
  • Experience in the management of workforce plans and running processes to support the accuracy of those plans
  • Ability to identity process improvements
  • Develops and maintains long term relationships with highly critical stakeholders internally and externally
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Understanding of the HSBC Group and its strategy, structures and processes
  • knowledge of the external environment - regulatory, political, competitor and market
  • Able to produce creative, high-quality materials using tools such as Zoom, Slido, MS PowerPoint. Strong presentation skills is advantageous.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work effectively with stakeholders of varying levels of seniority across diverse networks and multi-regional geographies.
  • An experienced engagement analyst (project coordinator) with experience supporting and delivering people initiatives across a wide range of topics (including but not limited to; DEI, learning & development, recognition, talent planning).
  • Awareness of creating high-quality, compelling internal communications that support key messages. Interest in, and respect for branding guidelines as set out by the organisation.
