We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Portfolio Manager
Principal responsibilities
- Portfolio Management: Oversee the business portfolio, cost management, and data analytics projects, ensuring alignment with the bank’s strategic objectives and data strategy. Work closely with Global and Regional counterparts to ensure alignment.
- Project Delivery: Drive project initiatives to ensure timely, high-quality, and cost-effective delivery, applying robust data governance and quality principles throughout.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Partner closely with IT, Business, and Functional teams to align directives, scope, and deliverables. Build strong relationships across all levels.
- Business Analysis: Understand business processes and requirements, perform analysis, and recommend data-driven solutions to enhance efficiency and risks.
- Reporting & Insights: Support the Senior Data Analytics Manager in preparing portfolio reports, tracking project progress, and delivering actionable insights for decision-making.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process re-engineering and innovation within the data portfolio.
Requirements
- University degree in a related discipline (e.g., Business, Data Analytics, Information Systems).
- 5+ years’ experience in portfolio management, project management, business analysis, or change management, ideally within banking or financial services.
- Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with data analytics tools and business intelligence platforms is highly desirable. Openess to learning is a must.
- Great sense of ownership, attention to detail, delivery focus, and ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results.
- Ability to interact and build relationships with Global, Regional and local stakeholders.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
