We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Data Officer.
Principal responsibilities
- Facilitate data management initiatives and projects to empower Business and Functional areas in transitioning the Bank into a data-centric organization
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the Bank (IT, Business, Functions) to ensure alignment of programme deliverables with our data strategy
- Manage Metadata process and enable business self-service capabilities on the HASE data platform, while streamlining metadata management processes
- Provide expertise on Data quality implementation for HASE business processes, continually monitor data quality, and offer assistance to process owners in remediation actions
- Support the implementation of data access controls on the data platform to enhance data security and efficiency, mitigate risks, and prevent data leakage
- Lead a team dedicated to supporting Data Management of the HASE data platform to generate business value
Requirements
- Background / qualifications in business process re-engineering
- 4-8 year experience in data management and 1-2 year experience in data related programme/project and change management discipline
- Have good understanding of data management principles and operational control framework
- Attention to detail combined with a strong delivery focus and the ability to meet aggressive timeframes with quality results
- Good knowledge on data management area: Metadata Management, Data Quality Control, Data Modeling, Data Security, Data Access control etc.
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
- University degree in related disciplines
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
