DevOps Technical Specialist (Windows), Commercial Banking IT - HSBC Operations, Services and Technology
Job Duties:
The job holder will have to perform the following duties:
- Manage Windows infrastructure
- Install and configure Windows operating systems on servers
- Provide technical consultancy and take part in system administration, configuration, monitoring, and project delivery
- Participate in incident / crisis support to provide speedy recovery of service and the subsequent root cause analysis and the implementation of improvement actions
- Maintain security settings and patches on Windows systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Windows-based applications and software
- Create and maintain documentation for Windows-based systems
- Collaborate with other IT professionals to design and implement Windows-based solutions
- Continuously evaluate and recommend new technologies to improve Windows infrastructure.
Qualification and Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or minimum 8 years related discipline
- Extensive hands-on experience in Windows administration including installation, configuration and maintenance
- Solid experience in providing consultancy services and technical advice on Windows projects
- Conduct server hardening and compliance configuration
- Reasonably Good command of both written and spoken English
- With at least 4 years of International Banking IT experience
