The Opportunity:   

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: CIB Technology

 

What you’ll do:      

1. Responsible for developing effective relationships with business units (Corporate Institutional Banking)

2. Ensures that required Technology services are identified, developed and supported to the satisfaction of the business.

3. Accountable for on target delivery of Technology projects to support regional business objectives. Establish and maintain service level agreements and are a point of contact concerning service issues.

4. Add value to the business by providing pro-active consultancy and expertise in Technology across all disciplines and bring Technology concepts and solutions to the business management teams which improve the running of the business

5. Play the Relationship Manager role to bridge local & global Tech teams with the CIB businesses, and to facilitate dialogue with right parties, including senior executives, and resolve problems. Help business functions to maximize the commercial values out of the investments, working with them to identify and realize opportunities to grow business income and achieve operational efficiency gains.

6. Provide project coordination and system expertise to support the delivery of CIB related projects in accordance with both group and local requirement.

7. Technology Risk steward - Provide support to CIB business on risk remediation, compliance to regulatory requirements, system review to ensure compliance with local governance, Technology outsourcing policy compliance and data compliance.

 

What you will need to succeed in the role:

1. Business knowledge of global markets (ie FX, Fixed Income, Equities) or/and Securities Services products (Fund Services, Transfer Agency, Direct Custody Services) and Corporate Banking.

2. A wide knowledge of hardware, software, operations and emerging networks.  Hands on experience in either programming, system testing, supporting or Technology system architect/leads. Be able to communicate with Dev team smoothly, e.g. familiar with common technical jargons, terms etc.

3. Ability to develop and deploy automation workflows using tools such as RPA, Low-code platforms, scripting languages etc.

4. Ability to build strong relationships with all functions and business units and influence in the organization

5. Proven track record of having delivered and supported complex, cross business change and ability to priorities competing demands

6. Be able to track and control Technology project expenditure

7. Successful project management and stakeholder management

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  Ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization with excellent influencing and negotiation skills.  Working in a global team with different cultures.

9. Positive ‘can do’ attitude, high level of drive to meet aggressive deadlines and targets

10. Needs to have excellent planning, time management, analytical and problem solving skills.  Ability to learn quickly and solve problems and to manage multiple demands and changing priorities.

 

What additional skills will be good to have?      

1.Experience working in ASP region. Knowledge of regional regulatory frameworks related to data privacy and process automation.

2.Experience with agile project management methodologies for automation project delivery.

3.Certification in AI/ Cloud/ RPA/Low code automation platform is a plus.
