We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities 
• Manage and drive end-to-end project starting from inception to project closure. Manage delivery proactively, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications and budget.
• Manage the project approach, building stakeholder buy-in around the project plan, commitments and changes.
• Work closely with the key stakeholders to ensure project progress, risks, financials are managed.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, ensuring timely execution and delivery of milestones & identify and mitigate risks, resolve issues, and ensure project deliverables meet quality standards.
• Design, develop and implement IT solutions to meet business user requirements.
• Ensure the tasks delivered meet business requirements and are delivered on time and within budget to an agreed level of quality.
• Design, develop automated test cases during development process and make sure the test cases are incorporate into the daily build process.
• Participate in the system integration activities with other teams and make sure the solution complies with group architecture policies and standards.
• Adopt and provide ongoing improvement on development process and promote usage of right tooling.
• Work closely with other IT teams on joint development and maintenance systems.
• Provide support on production case.

Requirements
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven track record (5+ years) in development role.
• Eexperience of delivering high quality and complex system solutions
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills
• Excellent technical skills in Java, Spring, Spring Boot and Spring Cloud
• Familiar with Linux and Shell script
• Knowledge and experience with Distributed systems, Micro-service architecture and APIs
• Knowledge and experience with relational database
• Knowledge of DevOps (CI/CD pipelines, test automation and toolings, etc)
• Able to work in Agile working model
• Strong passion for technology and engineering
• Cantonese would be an advantage.
• Experience in banking systems would be an advantage.
• Proven experience in AI and python would be an advantage.
