We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

 

Business: CTO Data Technology

 

Principal responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop and implement data virtualisation solutions using industry-standard tools and technologies. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and meet business requirements.
  • Data Integration: Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to integrate data from multiple sources, ensuring consistency and reliability.
  • Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of data virtualisation systems to ensure quick and reliable data access.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with IT and business and the vendor teams to understand data needs and provide solutions that support strategic goals.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data virtualisation processes, configurations, and best practices.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve issues related to data access and integration, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in data virtualisation and propose innovative solutions to enhance data accessibility.

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in data virtualisation, data integration, or related areas.
  • Good understanding in data virtualisation tools such as Starburst, Denodo, Informatica, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SQL and database management systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
