We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

 

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

 

Principal responsibilities

  • Acting as Analyst on assigned projects for the continual improvement of the Performance Management system specifically the understanding and management of the functional processes and configuration.
  • Translating business requirements into system requirements using appropriate terminology to facilitate the progression of a project through elaboration and definition.
  • Holding conversations with the business analysts, solution analysts and global service teams to drive out the Performance Management requirements, design and implementation needs.
  • Acting as subject matter expert for the Success Factors Performance Management system, including new functionality and innovation. Understanding HR processes and the impacts of system change - being comfortable completing Change Impact assessments.
  • Co-ordinating and delivering solution artefacts across the development lifecycle in order to implement change across the HR service lines.
  • Providing inputs to the testing streams for functional scenarios supporting quality assurance. Managing quality assurance requirements and tollgates, ensuring adherence to IT policy and procedures.
  • Supporting half yearly system upgrades and annual maintenance activities; not limited to the planning, scheduling, assessment and presentation of new features and their impact.
  • Proactively supporting incident and problem management in collaboration with peers. Assessing the viability of new requirements and providing proposals and solutions to the business that meet business requirements, aligned with IT strategy. Keeping appraised of leading practices – monitoring and evaluating future market trends and considering innovative solutions.

 

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

Technical:

  • SAP SuccessFactors expert in Performance Management.
  • SAP SuccessFactors Performance Management Certification or minimum 8 years hands-on configuration experience.
  • Good understanding of HR process, process dependencies and services including Employee Data, Organization Management, Talent, Time, Benefits and Learning Management, Recruitment & On-boarding, Performance & Goals, and Rewards and Compensation.
  • Experience of leading on and engaging with HR and Global Service Owners in order to understand requirements and subsequently scoping, discovering and defining viable solutions.
  • Experience on working with SAP SuccessFactors and especially in Performance Management in large global organisations with complex global and local regulatory requirements.
  • Extensive experience in Agile Ways of Working. DevOps methods and tooling. Pod leadership a bonus.
  • SAP HR/HCM implementations in banking a bonus.

Process:

  • Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment – demonstrable ability to adapt to different cultures.
  • Experience of working in virtual, geographically dispersed locations and time zones.
  • Experience of SaaS software and working with software vendors to keep abreast of developments, releases and roadmaps.
  • Proven self-starter who can operate and develop without close supervision.
  • Ensuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internal controls.
  • Adhere to all corporate policies, code of conduct and Group Compliance Policy.

Communication:

  • Great stakeholder and communication skills, to influence organizationally and deliver positive enduring change.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to see things through the eyes of our customers and colleagues.
