We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: Enterprise Technology L3

Principal responsibilities

Works with business users, downstream stakeholders and business analysts to recommend viable IT solutions to meet the requirements

• Works with project team to perform end-to-end delivery of the project, with output including requirement analysis, architecture / solution design, coding, testing (manually and automated), releasing and defect fixing with required visibility.
• Produces documentations and conducts elaborations on solutions to ensure maintainability and smooth implementation.
• Production support and incident reaction as part of the global team.
• Takes ownership of major components / projects to make sound technical decisions to delivery reasonable and cost-efficient solutions with good maintainability, and supports the team members to implement the solution with good quality.
• Participates and supports team’s events / activities and helps in team’s continuous improvements in delivery productivity, collaboration and visibility.

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications

• 6-12 years’ experience in Software development.
• Deep knowledge of Alibaba Cloud core services (ECS, ACK, RDS, SLB, OSS).
• Hands on experience with Terraform (modules, variables, outputs, workspaces, lifecycle, data sources, testing, lint/security tools).
• Proven Kubernetes (ACK) experience: cluster sizing, node pools, autoscaling, RBAC, admission controllers, upgrade & rollback, observability.
• Strong Scripting skills (Python; Bash/PowerShell).
• Solid understanding of CI/CD tools(GitHub Actions / Jenkins).
• Familiar with Apache Hadoop, Elastic Search, MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Good technical documentation skills.
• Excellent analysis and problem solving skills.
• Strong communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills.
