We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Principal responsibilities

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in Core Banking. Strong communication skills and experience in communicating with stakeholders are preferred.

• Technical Delivery: Build and deliver high-quality projects to drive business value.
• Technical Expertise: Solve complex technical challenges, optimize product performance, and ensure scalability.
• Quality Control: Ensure a high quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
• Process Improvement: Continuously refine procedures and systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship, fostering the team's growth and development.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions that align with organizational goals. 

Requirements

• A university graduate with degree in computer science or a related discipline
• At least 8 years of technical experience in iSeries, RPGLE, CLLE, DB2, SQL, MQ, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of Production Support Experience  ( Managing Change , Retrospective Changes , Incident and Problem Management Methodology ).
• Business knowledge in core banking, trade will be an advantage
• Strong problem solving skills
• Passion for technology, with a proactive approach to learning and innovation.
• Ability to balance creativity with pragmatic solutions to address business and technology challenges.
