We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: Enterprise Technology L3
Principal responsibilities
- Identify the scope of the testing required for a particular release based on the requirements of the document.
- Identify the tools for Test Reporting, Test Management, Test Automation, etc. and educate the team on how to use those tools. Again, plan knowledge transfer sessions if required to the team members for the tools that they would use.
- Gathering and analyzing user requirements and translating them into system test case scenarios.
- Work with other testing groups within the organization for the integration, pairwise and operation readiness testing.
- Support System Acceptance Testing & System Integration Tests, Regression Testing
- Developing corrective actions to help resolve bugs.
- Identify data requirements
- Contribute in status reporting to test lead/manager
- Should be able to demand and capacity planning and ensuring that idle time and commitment misses are minimized.
What you will need to success in the role
- Strategic Test Management, driving efficiencies via scalability and automation and Ability to work with cross functional teams across HR domains.
- Should have good knowledge in the Service now
- Should be proactive in identifying, reporting troubleshooting and escalation of issues to the HSBC Senior Management
- Should have experience in any automation tool
- Have worked successfully within a Agile team/environment
- Should be able to suggest and drive process improvements, metrics to improve the overall team performance to completion.
- Should have Automation knowledge & good understanding on the automation TOOLS.
- Should be comfortable with capturing team test results and providing project status reports to the Business Stake holders and HR IT Technology Team.
- Experience of working in a multi-cultural environment – demonstrable ability to adapt to different cultures
- Experience of working in virtual, geographically dispersed locations and time zones
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of HR processes
- Knowledge of Integrations
- Educated to degree level (preferred - or alternatively considerably greater experience to support an analytical ability)
