Principal responsibilities

  • Work with ITID and vendor for environment setup and support to assure all environments are consistent and meet the program’s requirements.

  • Monitor system health and performance, and take proactive measures to prevent issues.

  • Respond to and resolve program requests or incidents in a timely manner.

  • Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools to streamline tasks.

 

Knowledge & Experience/Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in supporting and managing Linux, WAS, IBM MQ, Oracle databases, and network infrastructure.
  • Experience with Active Directory setup, NAS and SAN storage solutions
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl
  • Agile and DevOps experience and fully understand on principles, practices and tools, such as Jenkins, G3 or Ansible.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Effective communication and documentation skills in spoken and written English

 

What additional skills will be good to have?

  • Fluent English communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills/Troubleshooting/debugging on infrastructure components, in particular on Windows, Unix, Oracle database, MQ

  • Good communication skills and be able to efficiently communicate in the production/crisis calls.

  • Certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), or similar.

  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g.GCP, AWS, Azure).
