Principal responsibilities
• Design, develop, and implement IT solutions using Java, Spring Boot, and JPA to meet business requirements.
• Apply design patterns to create robust and scalable software architectures.
• Conduct system tests, user acceptance tests, and provide support during system implementation.
• Ensure high-quality deliverables that meet industry standards and best practices.
• Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks in solution proposals, system design, and implementation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they arise.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience working in Agile methodologies, including Scrum or SAFe.
• Strong software development and coding skills, particularly in Java, Spring Boot and Oracle database
• Demonstrated ability in software design and familiarity with design patterns, and the ability to apply them effectively.
• Hands-on experience with Core Java, Maven, and RESTful API testing using tools like REST Assured and JUnit.
• Experience on CI / CD tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Git, GitHub, SonarQube, Ansible.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and innovative thinking.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Self-motivated, positive, and flexible, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global team.
Candidate with less relevant experience or skills may be offered a lower Global Career Band than stated above.
