We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.
Business: Chief Commercial Officer Tech
Principal responsibilities
• Develop and Implement IT solutions to meet business requirement.
• Ensure a high-quality standard of deliverables according to HSBC standards and best practices.
• Prepare project related documentation and ensure compliance and audit policies strictly followed.
• Align with DevOps and Agile delivery approach, tooling and practices adoption.
• Collaborate with a variety of teams for development and incident management.
• Work closely with Cloud infrastructure and engineering team to build the solution.
Requirements
• At least Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven hands-on experience with Java Spring boot, SQL and React, Javascript.
• Strong understanding of development build tools (e.g. Maven, G3 etc).
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
• Experience with cloud platforms (preferably AWS) and CI/CD tools (such as Jenkins).
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks and best practices for front-end and API testing.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
• Understanding of traditional J2EE system architecture.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Good communication skills in English (both written and spoken).
• Eagerness to learn new technologies and continuously improve skills.
