We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist.

Business: CTO Data Technology 

Principal responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, BA and other engineers to write clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.
• Proactively understands the Application changes in other areas and contributes for a process that helps in improving the devOps metrics such as MTTR , LTTD.
• Understands the application end to end at high level and contributes actively to the Internal Design Forums.
• Work in an agile manner and can change priorities depending on the criticalities. Works with the rest of the team members to have seamless integration.
• Takes ownership of the issue and completes till the features are deployed.
• Actively contributes to reviewing the release comms so that comms is sent to the right stakeholders well in advance and with high accuracy.
• Actively guides the team to represent the changes in the “Internal Change Review” forum , contributes to the Pull request and code review, work as SME for change approvals on a timely manner so that the change quality is improved.
• Helps the scrum master to plan & track effectively.
• Mentors the Junior developers who joins the team to be productive in less than a sprint.
• Drives the Knowledge sharing sessions so that the team is working independently as much as possible.
• Helps the management team to improve the process & operational efficiency from time to time.

• Java and Spring boot framework. GitHub copilot.
• Nifi or Scripting knowledge in Python or groovy. Knowledge of PostgreSQL or any other RDBMS.
• Solution design & Knowledge of Microservices.
• GitHub, Jenkins & Ansible. Understanding of CI/CD concept.
• Good Technical Design, Problem Solving and debugging skills
• Effective communication skills.

What additional skills will be good to have?

• Any cloud platform such as GCP, AWS
• Shell scripting
• JIRA automation and confluence
• Experience in ETL, Ingestion or similar experience is preferred.
• Angular/React framework for UI development.
• Agentic AI capabilities.
