We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Associate Software Engineering Manager.

Principal responsibilities

In this role, you will:

• Responsible for Apex Branding design.
• User Persona analysis and User Journey exploration.
• User Interface and interaction design for a large and strategically important internal platform, with a varied and specialist user base Designing for users with often complex and heavy data needs Lead the evolution of our UI design system
• Working daily with Figma Ul components, patterns, and guidelines to maintain a consistent and scalable visual language across all product interfaces Creating new components / patterns when needed, in keeping with the brand and design toolkit
• Follow governance and sign off for designs and design system changes, where required
• Translating product requirements, user research, and cross-functional team decisions into Ul solutions
• Engage with stakeholders to clarify, question, gather feedback, and iterate on designs to ensure alignment with project goals and user needs
• Produce prototypes for user research and user testing, communicating concepts to stakeholders and communicating designs to development teams Enhance designs with animations and transitions, where it enhances user understanding, comprehension and usability Participate in research initiatives, competitive product analysis and data analysis
• Initiative in identifying and troubleshooting UI/UX issues, and provide solutions to enhance overall user experience

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• A bachelor's degree in design or a related field
• At least 7 years of experience in UI/Graphic design and 2 years of experience in UX/Product design in business applications Hands-on experience creating wireframes, prototypes, user flows, etc.
• Good understanding of frontend technologies (e.g.HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, etc.) Highly experienced and proficient in Figma (essential) Experience working closely with development teams
• Experience working for and with UX/design lead
• Be as comfortable working alone, as you are with active guidance / steering
• Able to execute UI design both with light ambiguous briefs and/or from detailed UX, depending on the circumstances. 
• Good communication and presentation skills, able to work both independently and as a team Be comfortable receiving objective critique on designs
• Are excited to work in a startup environment, not afraid to roll up your sleeves and to be proactive A portfolio showcasing a range of Ul designs and design system examples Proficient in English is a MUST, able to work with teams worldwide
